First Bit held a Business Breakfast focused on ERP for the construction industry on July 11th, 2024, at Address Boulevard, Downtown Dubai. The event aimed to facilitate networking with industry leaders and peers, offer valuable insights from ERP implementation experts, and present innovative solutions to propel the business forward.

Representatives from construction companies attended the Business Breakfast and were eager to learn about the newest ERP solutions designed for the construction industry. Experts from First Bit delivered presentations and offered valuable insights on how to estimate and manage project costs, revenues, and budgets effectively. Discussion topics covered project cost accounting, the difference between financial and project accounting, cost allocation, overheads, as well as the benefits of implementing automated cost accounting processes to improve efficiency via ERP software for the construction industry.
Additionally, Mohammed ElShanti, CEO of AJ Consulting and Digital Transformation Adviser for our client PLC Contracting, shared his experience with a presentation titled "Digital Transformation Strategy for ERP Implementation." Together we discussed how ERP can help enhance an organization’s efficiency, agility, and competitiveness in the market.
