KPS Launches Summer Safety Campaign for UAE Contractors

The campaign provides contractors with clear, multilingual resources to help them navigate summer challenges. Posters in English, Arabic, and Hindi highlight essential safety practices, including staying hydrated, understanding heat index risks, recognizing the signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke, and complying with the mandatory midday break from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

These materials ensure that all workers, regardless of language, can understand and follow essential safety guidelines. KPS focuses on education to help contractors protect their teams and keep projects on track.

To support contractors on-site, the KPS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team conducts regular site visits and toolbox talks, offering practical training on managing heat-related risks. These hands-on sessions equip contractors with the knowledge needed to maintain a safe working environment. The main goal of it is to reduce the risk of heat-related incidents and support smooth project operations.
