Our team was thrilled to be a part of the conference and learn all about the latest and greatest in construction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Mike Teplov, Head of Growth Department at First Bit, was impressed with the event and shared his thoughts:
Ajin Babu, Sales Consultant at First Bit, shared his insights about the conference:
I’m pleased to say that our first conference experience in Saudi Arabia was really good. We’ve managed to engage with leading contractors and construction companies in KSA, who share the interest in digital transformation and new solutions coming to the market. We have a lot of meetings with potential prospects scheduled for the detailed discussions for the upcoming week, but so far everything looks really promising for First Bit ERP Contracting software on the KSA market.

CTF KSA explored more than 12 digital and sustainability areas essential to the AEC industry, assisting in evaluating the newest tools, materials, and methods to make design, construction, and operations quicker, more eco-friendly, safer, and more cost-efficient.
Ajin Babu, Sales Consultant at First Bit, shared his insights about the conference:
In my opinion, exploring the new country and engaging with its market leaders was an insightful experience. The contracting industry there presents a vast market, yet it seems that many software solutions are not fully tailored to provide industry-specific approaches.

He also gained insights into the needs of software for construction businesses at the conFex:
My one-on-one meetings with high-level managers reinforced the notion that, while they manage an extensive portfolio of projects, there is a noticeable lack of comprehensive, unified solutions for the industry. At present, they rely on multiple software systems for different departments or heavily customized tools just to achieve basic operational functionality.

The Construction Technology ConFeX in Saudi Arabia was a leading event that aimed to enhance the project market and the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry by bringing together developers, contractors, consultants, and technology companies.
Participants explored a variety of digital fields, implementing cutting-edge tools and systems such as BIM+, Digital Twins, Reality Site Capture, and Virtual Construction.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas and discover new approaches to simplify the workflows in their construction businesses.
