Dubai Municipality and Dubai Courts have signed an agreement to launch the Citizens’ Home Construction Dispute Resolution Centre at Al Manara Centre, affiliated with Dubai Municipality.[?]

Under the agreement, Dubai Municipality will provide technical and logistical support, including engineering expertise, to assist judicial services and help shorten litigation timelines. Dubai Courts will be responsible for establishing and operating the center, applying the highest judicial and administrative standards.

Purpose and Role of the Centre

The center's primary mandate is to resolve disputes arising from home construction contracts between citizens and contractors. In doing so, it aims to establish a legal environment that protects the rights of all parties, reinforces family stability, and supports the long-term sustainability of projects.
At the same time, the initiative seeks to strengthen the overall regulatory framework for housing, providing integrated government services that improve the quality of life and address citizens’ needs with greater efficiency.
Commenting on the launch, Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said:
